Well,
the year is quite young, but aging as time flies. Looking back on the months
gone by, as a new year starts and an old one ends. We contemplate what brought
us joy, and we think of our loved ones and our friends. Recalling all the happy
times, remembering how they enriched our lives. We reflect upon who really
counts, as the fresh and bright New Year arrives. Being the first month of the
year, everyone has this taboo that everything should go their way, everything
should be perfect and everything should be new. Most people expect more money,
less problems, total happiness, and a perfect life, but if things don’t go
their way, the year is cursed, the year is bad. Let’s be real, if we keep
thinking like that, the year clearly becomes an hourglass of pain.
Who
said the New Year means everything is perfect? What makes it different from the
previous year? There’s nothing really special about the New Year, same old
drama is going to follow us, the mistakes of the previous year will catch up
with us, and we will face same problems that we faced last year. The only
difference is, we have no idea what’s ahead, we don’t know about tomorrow, and
we don’t know what will happen in between the months, but, God knows. Perhaps
we can have the year of our dreams, by the smart decisions we will make and the
positive steps we take in facing our problems. To most of us including me,
drama seems to follow us everywhere, well, who cares? It’s how different we handle
the drama that’s going to make the year more different and more peaceful. We
all know we have to change, we all know exactly what we need to do to have the
best year of our life.
HAPPY
NEW YEAR!!!
