END YEAR

The year is finally coming to an end which has taken most of us by surprise. I can remember January, like it was yesterday, setting up goals, things to achieve, resolutions, people to get rid of, among others. Some I achieved, some I didn’t. But the most important thing of all is the chance to see it end, gift of life. I’ve lost far too many, it wasn’t a smooth ride, all in all, the only way to overcome pain is to embrace it, that way, it has no power over us. Let our courage surpass all our fears, may all the doubts we had be cleared because its far much better what’s ahead of us, than what we’ve left behind us.

I remember the good times and wish I could do it a second time.

When I was lost in time, I made sure it was a good time.

I remember the special times; those were the best times, the happy times.

When it was a sad time, I thought of the good times, those family times.

I remember those romantic times, the lucky times.

I can never trade the memories of those good times because at the end of time, all we can do, is smile about them.
